The traditional glove sizing system was developed in France several hundred years ago. Thousands of hands were measured and a connection became clear: if you measure the circumference of the palm, the other dimensions of the hand are often in proportion.
Compare the size measurement in our size chart that you will find on the product page.
Introduction
Size chart for men
Measure the circumference of your hand with a tape measure or string and a ruler. The size chart is based on average hand measurements. Eventhough, measuring your hand this way gets you close to the right size glove it can never be a 100% accurate. Because of that our sizing guide should therefore only be seen as a recommendation.
Frequently asked questions
DO LEATHER GLOVES STRETCH OVER TIME?
Thinner leathers used in our dress gloves, such as peccary, carpincho, deer, moose and lamb nappa leather, will generally stretch over time. More durable and thicker leathers used in our sports gloves, such as goatskin and cowhide, generally do not stretch over time.
DOES THE GLOVE SHRINK IN SIZE WHEN EXPOSED TO MOISTURE?
Leather generally does not shrink when exposed to moisture. However, the wool liners can shrink in some cases when exposed to moisture, heat and rapid friction in combination.
