Shoe horns

A practical cedar wood shoe horn or a very luxurious and eye-catching shoe horn made of and by Abbeyhorn. Both are very practical and enjoyable to the eye. A shoe horn prevents the back of the shoe from bending and breaking down. With a good shoehorn you extend the life of your shoes, so make sure you always have one on hand.

A good shoe horn, essential

A good shoe horn is typically one of those shoe accessories that is often overlooked. Still, a good shoehorn is indispensable if you want to take good care of your shoes. Have you ever wondered why, for example, in a good shoe store you are always handed a shoe horn while fitting? That's because otherwise you'll flatten the heel of the shoe with your foot, or push it out of shape with your hands. This will not be immediately visible the first few times, but eventually, you will see this in the form of wrinkles and folds. The heel part of a shoe is also almost always reinforced so that once it has been folded, it does not form back.

Which shoe horn is for you?

Which shoehorn do you need? That mainly depends on where you use the shoehorn. In our product range, we have luxury shoehorns from Abbeyhorn that make shoehorns from the horn. These shoehorns are a delight to the eye but are better suited for home use. We also have compact shoehorns made from different types of wood and steel. Perfect for your work bag or suitcase!

Why a high quality shoe horn?

Why not? A good pair of shoes needs a good shoehorn. A good shoehorn you'll have for the rest of your life. It would be a shame if that is a cheap plastic variant. Do you wear the highest quality shoes from, for example, the brand: Van Bommel, Greve, Crockett & Jones, Santoni, Magnanni, Church's, Edward Green, Alden, Carlos Santos, Floris van Bommel or Fratelli Rosetti? Then order a good shoehorn that fits this calibre of shoes.
